<p>Now is a good time to improve your health and your life.  Did you make any New Year&#8217;s resolutions to take care of yourself?  Health and weight loss tend to top the list.  Every year, I also make a goal to attain better health. Whether it is through nutrition, exercise and/or lifestyle modifications.  Most people want to live healthier and make the commitment. If this is what you desire, I would like to help you achieve these goals.</p>
<p>Here are a few tips to help you get back in the groove of improving your health.</p>
<ul>
<li>If you are starting a new exercise program, make sure you ease into it.  Do not over-train your muscles on the very first day.  Find your baseline, then increase weight and reps from there.  Most exercise related injuries can be prevented by warming your muscles with light cardio and finishing your workout with stretching.</li>
<li>Eat well balanced meals utilizing more natural foods and less processed foods.  Sounds simple, but takes meal planning.  For those struggling with weight, I suggest eating smaller and more frequent meals.  Keep a food journal and keep track of calories and portion sizes.</li>
<li>Get off the couch and get active.</li>
</ul>
<p>Come see your chiropractor for a check-up.  Just like your car needs a tune-up, so does your body.  The only difference is this is the only body you will have.  So lets take good care of it.</p>
